Use CSV import when you need to add many targets at once (typically 10+). The system validates all records before anything is added to your workspace.

You can add targets one by one or import a list in bulk via CSV.

Tags let you group targets by any dimension that makes sense for your organization — team, environment, business unit, or project. You can then filter issues and run scans against a tag group rather than selecting targets one by one.

Each target in Topscan consumes a license. Your plan includes a set number of licenses split between Infrastructure targets and Web Application targets. The Licenses tab shows your current usage.

Every asset you add to Topscan is assigned one of two types. The type determines which checks Topscan runs against it.
