How to read an issue
Click any issue in the list to open its detail panel on the right. Here's what each field means.
Issue statuses: Current, Fixed, Snoozed, Noise
Every issue in Topscan has a status that reflects its current state. You can switch between status views using the tabs at the top of the Issues page.
Marking as False positive
If Topscan reports a vulnerability that does not actually exist on your system — for example, a version-based detection where your software has been patched without a version bump — you can mark it as a False positive.
SLA and overdue issues
Topscan tracks how long each issue has been open and compares it against a remediation deadline (SLA). Issues that exceed their deadline are marked Overdue and penalize your Security Score.
Snoozing an issue
Snoozing removes an issue from the Current view for a set period of time. Use it when you acknowledge a vulnerability exists but have a legitimate reason to defer remediation.
Triage mode
Triage mode changes how issues are displayed in the list, making it easier to work through a large backlog systematically.
What Topscan scans for
Topscan runs a broad library of security checks against your targets on every scan. This page summarizes the categories of checks so you know what coverage each scan provides.
